This Johann Haviland fruit bowl was produced in Thailand in 1991 under the Traditions Fine China line, distributed by the Johann Haviland Corporation of Des Plaines, Illinois. The Haviland name traces back to David Haviland's original company of 1842, through generations of the family — Johann himself, grandson of David and son of Charles, founded his namesake line in Germany in 1907, aiming to bring graceful porcelain to American tables at an accessible price. The Moss Rose pattern honors that spirit. Eight are available — beautiful as a cohesive set or mixed in with other floral china for a collected, layered table.
