Arlen Fine China's Maple Leaf (#1714) was produced in Japan during the mid-century era. The backstamp reads "Arlen Fine China, Reg. T.M. Japan, Maple Leaf, 1714." There is a small gold mark on the back consistent with a manufacturing fluke — gold from the rim applied accidentally during production, not a crack or chip.
