Gold and silver leaves on the finest of brown branches — the same spare, sophisticated pattern as the soup bowl, scaled down to fruit and dessert size.
Arlen Fine China's Maple Leaf (#1714) was produced in Japan during the mid-century era. The backstamp reads "Arlen Fine China, Reg. T.M. Japan, Maple Leaf, 1714." There is a small gold mark on the back consistent with a manufacturing fluke — gold from the rim applied accidentally during production, not a crack or chip. Additional Maple Leaf pieces are available in the shop.
A refined addition to the Maple Leaf collector's set, or a lovely standalone piece for the seasonal decorator. Equally at home holding fruit at breakfast or resting on a dresser.
