Two figures, white on white — high-gloss glazed porcelain with embossed detail hiding in the surface: one gown carries flowers, the other birds, both visible only once you look closely. Striking poses, clean silhouettes, the kind of quiet statement that works in a curio, on a bookshelf, or in any room that gravitates toward chinoiserie.

HomCo (Home Interiors & Gifts) was founded in 1957 by Mary C. Crowley in Carrollton, Texas, distributing home décor through a network that grew to over 42,000 independent salespeople before the company's closure in 2008. These pieces were made in Taiwan and carry both the original HomCo foil stickers and the collection number 1443 stamped on the base. The embossed detail on the gowns is genuinely fine — easily missed at first, rewarding on closer inspection.

A beautiful pair for a chinoiserie display, a minimalist shelf, or an Asian-inspired room. A thoughtful gift for a birthday, housewarming, or anyone who loves understated elegance.
