A great addition to your holiday decor and the perfect gift for a nutcracker collector.
The Mouse King comes from E.T.A. Hoffmann's 1816 story The Nutcracker and the Mouse King, where he leads an army of mice against the Nutcracker and the girl who loves him. Tchaikovsky's ballet, first performed in St. Petersburg in 1892, made the tale a Christmas tradition, and collectors like to pair the villain with the Nutcracker himself.
