This Relco Creation pair is an unusual find: both boy and girl painted in the same restrained palette of white ceramic with golden accents, their expressions and eye detail rendered in full color. The boy cradles a goose, the girl carries a basket, both standing 8.25 inches tall with original foil Relco Japan stickers still intact on the base. Relco imported consistently quality mid-century ceramics from Japan; finding both figures together in this condition is not common.
Beautiful in any setting — particularly striking in a white winter vignette, a nursery shelf, or a collected display of mid-century Japan imports. A lovely gift for a collector who knows what they're looking at.
