A sweet angel lifts her trumpet skyward, echoing the joy of "Hark the Herald Angels Sing."
Sam Butcher began drawing the endearing, teardrop-eyed children he called "Precious Moments" as gifts for family and friends, launching a small company with his friend Bill Biel in the early 1970s. Enesco later approached Sam about turning his artwork into three-dimensional figurines, and the line -- now over 1,500 pieces strong -- took off from there. This one, #111112, has a high-shine glaze and is stamped on the bottom with the year and collection number.
