Part of the Snowbabies Miniature Collection that ran from 1989 to 2006, this style, called "Ring the Bells, It's Christmas," was produced from 1995 to 1998. It's confirmed hand-painted pewter, not cast iron as it's often mislabeled, with an added real silk ribbon. The bottom carries the original sticker: "Department 56, Made in China." This piece is heavy for its size and would not work well hanging on a wreath or the tree.
