Such a retro look. These Diamond Point pressed glass dispensers were always at our favorite diners and roadside restaurants back in the 1970s. They were inexpensive restaurant-ware imported from Hong Kong, but today they are treasured for their nostalgic look. This one is glass with a large starburst on the bottom and a metal lid with a clip-hinged design.
Although meant for serving syrup, it could be used for honey, as a creamer, for salad dressing, and for many other sauces and liquids, both sweet and savory. It would enhance any vintage styled buffet table or breakfast setting, and is great as a hostess gift with a bottle of fancy syrup.
