The Mikasa Ovation White pattern (FX030) is a study in restraint — fine bone china decorated with a large lotus flower (perhaps hibiscus) in soft gray outlined in white, bordered in platinum. The saucer mirrors the motif with a tiny bud on the opposite side. Both pieces stamped “Mikasa Bone China, FX030 Ovation, Japan.” A retired pattern beloved for its meditative quality and luminous translucent body.
