The early Tirschenreuth mark — a shield with stripes, the initials P.T., and Bavaria, without the full factory name — dates this plate to the years before 1925, when the factory was still building its reputation for Hutschenreuther-caliber porcelain.
A vase full of pink roses anchors the center, surrounded by gold encrusted smaller floral sprigs and stems rendered with the confidence of a trained decorator. The ombre green background shifts from light to deep; the scalloped gold rim finishes every edge with precision. Numbers "1822" and "5" on the back likely reference the pattern and mold. Excellent condition with no chips or cracks.
A distinguished cabinet plate for a serious Bavarian porcelain collector, or an elegant wall piece for anyone who loves early 20th-century German decorative arts.
