A beautiful piece for a Reidsville native, a North Carolina collector, a Jim Beam enthusiast, or any dad who loves a decanter with a genuine sense of place and history. Equally at home on a bar shelf, a study bookcase, or a display cabinet.

One side carries the city's centennial slogan, "Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow," in elegant script; the other features a detailed map of North Carolina set within a large gold ring. The porcelain is richly textured with embossed detail throughout. Reidsville was founded in 1873 in Rockingham County, in the heart of North Carolina's historic tobacco belt, named after local landowner Reuben Reid, and grew into a prosperous manufacturing and agricultural community over its first century. Jim Beam's city and state commemorative decanter series, produced through Royal China of Chicago, documented communities across America from the late 1950s through the 1980s, and these local history pieces are increasingly sought after by regional collectors.
