House of Prill has been producing fine English porcelain from Sheffield since 1908, and these pedestal cups are a lovely example of their work. The bluebonnet (Lupinus texensis), Texas's state flower since 1901, appears in delicate bloom against bright white porcelain on each cup, with an elegant swirl handle and the House of Prill stamp on the base. At 4.5 inches tall and 8 oz, the shape is classic for Irish coffee, hot toddies, or simply a properly served espresso.
