Victorian florals on four curvy feet — and ornate handles that make even pouring cream feel ceremonial.
W & S Blackinton, one of America's distinguished silverplate makers, produced this creamer and sugar set in what we believe is their Victorian Rose pattern — floral motifs repeated on the feet, the handles, and the lid finial, creating a cohesive, layered design that is thoroughly Victorian in spirit. Both pieces are marked with the cursive W & S Blackinton wordmark and were likely made in the 1960s–1970s after the Raimond Silver Co. acquisition. The set still has a good shine but would benefit from a thorough silver polish to fully restore its luster.
One condition note: the creamer shows bluish copper oxidation on the interior — the base metal underneath the silverplate is likely copper, and oxidation is visible inside. Photographed for your review. No chips or dents on either piece.
A decorative and functional find for the silverplate collector, or a beautiful display piece for a curated vintage vignette.
