Delicate green leaves on a fine branch, a ribbed melon-shaped body, and gold at the rim, handle, and swirled foot — a creamer that is quietly, confidently Old World.

Mitterteich has been making porcelain in Bavaria since 1887, and the Green Leaves pattern represents the house at its most restrained. The design is exactly what it promises: two sprigs of green leaves on a thin branch, repeated on both sides, against porcelain that is ribbed lengthwise in the melon form typical of the Victorian-influenced shapes Mitterteich favored. Backstamped "Mitterteich Bavaria, Green Leaves, Germany 018," dated to 1945–1960. At 14 oz it's one of the more generous creamers in the collection. Note: the leaves photograph slightly darker than they appear in person — in hand, they are a softer, lighter green. Hand washing strongly recommended.

An elegant, understated piece for a formal breakfast tray or a shelf of Bavarian porcelain. At home with florals, with neutral table settings, or with other nature-themed pieces. A thoughtful gift for the European porcelain collector or anyone who appreciates restraint as a design choice.
