This one started life as an unused tin of “Britelube,” a re-refined motor oil brand from the Davis Refining Corporation of Tallahassee, Florida. It's New Old Stock — never filled, never used — though decades on a shelf have given the tin a soft loss of shine and a couple of light stains, the kind of honest aging that comes with true vintage condition.
