This is a vintage white porcelain coffee pot in the Medallion Platinum pattern by Thomas, Marktredwitz, Germany. Stamped "Thomas Germany" — dating it between 1959 and 1977. Long, elegant silhouette with a thick platinum rim band — no decoration beyond the form and the platinum. Holds 4 cups / 32 oz. Thomas was founded in 1904 in Marktredwitz by Fritz Thomas, and operated as an independent subsidiary of Rosenthal from 1908 onward. The clean Scandinavian-influenced aesthetic of pieces like this one defined the Thomas look through the late 1970s.
