This is a vintage white porcelain coffee pot in the Medallion Platinum pattern by Thomas, Marktredwitz, Germany. Stamped "Thomas Germany" — dating it between 1959 and 1977. Long, elegant silhouette with a thick platinum rim band — no decoration beyond the form and the platinum. Holds 4 cups / 32 oz. Excellent condition — no cracks, chips, or visible scratches. Platinum rims in perfect condition. One piece available.
Thomas was founded in 1904 in Marktredwitz by Fritz Thomas, and operated as an independent subsidiary of Rosenthal from 1908 onward. The clean Scandinavian-influenced aesthetic of pieces like this one defined the Thomas look through the late 1970s. Because of its simplicity, Medallion Platinum works equally well in a mid-century modern setting and a contemporary minimalist one.
