This is a vintage Arabic Dallah coffee pot in hand-carved brass, made in India. The Dallah is the traditional Bedouin vessel for brewing spiced coffee — a practice with roots going back to the 17th century. A different carved design on each side. Unmarked beyond country of origin. Not cleaned — the aged brass patina is exactly what collectors want. No cracks, dents, chips, or scratches. The 5" version in the collection. The 2.5" miniature and 8" Jerusalem Dallah are also available in the shop.
