One pot. Hand-carved copper and brass. A bird on the lid that rings as the water heats. Made in Jerusalem — marked on the handle.

This is a vintage Arabic Dallah coffee pot in hand-carved copper and brass, made in Jerusalem — the maker's mark is on the handle. The Dallah is the traditional Bedouin vessel for brewing spiced coffee, a practice with roots going back to the 17th century. This example has a bird finial on the lid — these are known as "ringing" kettles, as the steam escaping through the spout creates a ringing sound as the water heats. Excellent vintage condition throughout. One piece available.

At 8 inches tall with a 7.5-inch span from spout to handle, this is a proper full-size Dallah — substantial and beautiful on a shelf, a mantle, a bar cart, or a kitchen where old-world craft is welcome. No cracks, dents, chips, or scratches. Age-appropriate wear only.

A wonderful piece for a Middle Eastern art collector, a copper and brass enthusiast, a Judaica collector, or anyone who appreciates genuinely handcrafted objects with a long history behind them.
