Rie Cramer (1887–1977) was a beloved Dutch illustrator whose charming children's imagery graced books, cards, and ceramics for decades. These two Kronester Bavaria porcelain cups — marked Zomer (Summer) and Herfst (Autumn) — are from her Seasons children's cup collection, produced sometime between 1969 and the 1980s based on the backstamp. Each is signed by the artist. Small in scale at 3.25 inches tall, they're the size of a proper child's cup but entirely at home in a curio cabinet or seasonal display.
