There's something about holding one of these that changes the way a celebration feels.

This set of five mid-century champagne glasses — tall sherbet coupes in hand-blown glass — is decorated with one of the most romantic patterns of the era: a large cut rose, its petals built from layered cuts surrounding a distinctive "windowpane" center, with long stems, sweeping leaves, and a small bud looping the opposite side. We believe these were made by Duncan Miller, whose other cut-rose patterns share this same windowpane hallmark. The glass is weighty and clear, the etching precise and beautifully deep. They serve equally well as small dessert cups at a formal table setting.

An extraordinary anniversary, wedding, or housewarming gift — or simply the glasses you bring out when the moment deserves it.
