The set includes 4 Ruby (red) and 4 Emerald (green) flutes, from 1998. Each has a sleek color-glass bowl on a clear stem and base, and the drop of color encased in the neck of the stem shows fine glass-blowing workmanship. Hand wash to keep them in top condition. The set is heavy and will be carefully packed for safe arrival.

Lenox began in 1889 in Trenton, New Jersey, as the Ceramic Art Company, founded by Walter Scott Lenox, and took the Lenox name in 1906. The company became best known for fine china, including the dinnerware chosen for the White House under President Woodrow Wilson in 1918, and its name came to stand for quality in tabletop pieces of all kinds, glass included.
