The centerpiece of the table, and the workhorse of the kitchen — rarely the same dish.
The Evesham Gold pattern has been a Royal Worcester icon since 1961, named after a local Worcestershire plum variety and beloved ever since for its warm, abundant still-life of fruits and vegetables on brilliant white oven-to-table porcelain. This is the large 3-quart round covered casserole — ribbed sides, gold rim, and a generously sized lid — decorated with plums and corn. Stamped with the full Royal Worcester Royal Warrant backstamp: "By appointment to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II… Manufacturers of Fine Oven China, Made in England, 1961." One plum on the lid shows slight wear (photographed), wear on bottom from use; no chips or cracks. Hand wash only.
A grand piece for holiday entertaining, Sunday dinners, or anyone building an Evesham collection. An heirloom-quality gift for a milestone occasion — anniversary, housewarming, or a significant birthday.
