Details: This exquisite Royal Worcester covered casserole is from the iconic Evesham Gold collection, a timeless classic. The 3 QT round design exudes elegance, making it the perfect addition to any sophisticated table. This is part of an entire dinnerware pattern that included not only plates, cups, etc., but also bakeware, servingware and many other items. Each piece has the same gorgeous bright white porcelain with colorful fruit and vegetables in different combinations, some have the gold rim, others do not, this one does, it is also ribbed. Hand Wash only. It is stamped on the bottom: "By appointment to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, The Worcester Royal Porcelain Company, Severn Street, Worcester. Manufacturers of Fine Oven China, Made in England, 1961 Royal Worcester, Evesham, Oven to Table Ware". This is a very versatile pattern that can be "dressed up" for an elegant table or buffet, but with it's fruit & vegetables pattern, it's perfectly at home in a country, farmhouse or more casual setting. Condition: Vintage - Used. Very Good Vintage Condition. There is one plum on the lid that shows slight wear, photographed for you. Other signs of wear on the bottom only, as acceptable due to age/use. No chips or cracks. Must Hand Wash. Apologies for the photo glare, these are very shiny.
