Kerr introduced its Self Sealing jar back in 1904, and this one wears a hand-stitched pink piggy on its lid — a country-kitchen touch someone added decades later.
- Maker: Kerr
- Materials: Glass, fabric, plastic (red sealing ring)
- Dimensions: 4.0" tall, 3.0" diameter (top); holds 6 oz to the fill line
- Origin: USA
- Era: Vintage, 1970s–1980s (estimated)

The lid insert is a hand-stitched cross-stitch design — a pink pig set against the fabric backing, tucked under the jar's original plastic ring and metal lid, which still holds a good, tight seal.
A wonderful jar for a baby's nursery, a country or farmhouse kitchen, or any other cute storage need. Kitschy-country and genuinely charming.
Kerr's Self Sealing jar dates back to as early as October 1904, though the design wasn't formally registered until June 26, 1934 — one of the most enduring names in American home canning, still loved, used, and collected today.
