Stamped "Made in Hong Kong," this pair carries a Georgian or Colonial Baroque sensibility rarely seen in pieces of this era and origin — the claw foot was a hallmark of 18th-century European furniture and decorative arts, and finding it here, rendered in solid (not plated) brass with real weight and presence, makes these a genuine collector's find. Still in excellent vintage condition with only the natural dark spots and surface marks that honest brass acquires with age. They can be polished to a high shine or left as-is for that warm, lived-in patina.
