This vintage 1950s Gurley Novelty paraffin wax candle is shaped like a choir caroler boy, red-haired and dressed in a red-and-white choir gown with a necktie — mid-verse and ready for the mantel, a cheerful companion piece to the Gurley caroler girl.

  • Maker: Gurley Novelty Co. (unlabeled, confirmed genuine)
  • Materials: Paraffin wax
  • Dimensions: Approx. 3" tall (not including wick)
  • Origin: Buffalo, NY, USA
  • Era: Vintage 1950s
  • Condition: Very good vintage, never burned — some discoloration, mostly on the face. Please review photos closely before purchasing, as all sales are final.

A great addition to a Christmas display or a small gift for a Gurley collector.

Made by the Gurley Novelty Company of Buffalo, New York, this figural candle carries the brand's signature charm, even without its original paper label intact (we can confirm it's a genuine Gurley). The company's founder built the business out of a paraffin-recycling operation in the 1930s and went on to make some of the most collected figural holiday candles of the mid-century era.

He's a natural pair with our Gurley Choir Caroler Girl for a matching set. Browse our shop for more Gurley candles to round out your collection.
