A lovely mantel or shelf accent for a vintage Christmas display, and a fun find for any Gurley collector.

Gurley Novelty Company got its start in Buffalo, New York, when Franklin Gurley took over a candle operation originally built to repurpose leftover paraffin from oil refining. By 1949 the company bore his name, and its figural holiday candles — angels, carolers, Santas, Indians pilgrims, and more — have become genuinely collectible. These have never been lit, over 70 years since they were made.
