- Details: This is a very old, hard to find Calendar Sample. The lithograph print features a painting by artist Frank F. English, (1854-1922), a Country Landscape, Cabin and Horse Drawn Cart on Dirt Road. Titled: End of Day #6213, and signed by artist on bottom right. Copyright by FAS lithographers. A sample of the calendar style that would occupy the space is attached below, under a flip-tab, with the January 1927 calendar month only, (this is a sample, they rarely contained the entire calendar). This one has a real satin bow on top and a string on back for hanging. Would look gorgeous framed.

- Condition: Vintage - Used. Very Good Vintage Condition, considering its almost 100 years old. This is an original calendar sample, not a reproduction. There is wear on the cardboard piece, tear on top left corner, bent corners. The print has a tear on the bottom. Frank F. English was an American painter, born in Indiana in 1854 In the 1880's, he attended the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. While he painted some stunning pieces in oil and pastels paintings, but he is mostly recognized for his countryside watercolor paintings, which have been widely reproduced as numbered prints, for calendars, advertisements, art prints, and store promotions. His art was also reproduced for post cards copyrighted by R. Hill in 1903 and published by Edward Stern & Co., Inc. of Philadelphia. Frank English died at his home in Point Pleasant Pennsylvania on December 26, 1922. His works symbolize and preserve America cultural transition from an agrarian society.
