This Damascene brooch — Toledoware, the Spanish tradition of inlaying gold and silver into darkened metal — features a stylized tulip with a faux pearl at the center and three additional pearl buds at the tips, surrounded by beautifully detailed black-and-white enamel leaves. Unmarked but unmistakably well-made. The enamelwork is perfect. At 1.75 × 1.5 inches it is wearable on anything from a coat lapel to a cardigan. Very good condition, no issues.
