CORO was in business from 1901 to 1979. Started by Emanuel Cohn and later with Carl Rosenberger, (they came up with a company name based on their last names), in New York City. But they didn't start using the CORO name until 1943. For almost 80 years they produced gorgeous jewelry under various brand names like: Corocraft, Jewelcraft, and Francoise. The company was purchased by The Richton International Corporation in 1957 and closed its doors in 1979. We're not shy to tell you, this is one of our very favorite vintage jewelry makers!
