Desert Rose needs no introduction — introduced by Franciscan Ceramics (Gladding McBean & Co.) in 1941, it became the most beloved American dinnerware pattern ever made, and it is not hard to understand why. The hand-painted pink roses in raised relief, the warm off-white earthenware ground, the slightly organic feel of every piece — it is a pattern that makes any table feel like home.
This 6.25-inch bread and butter plate carries the decorator mark only, placing it in the 1960s Gladding McBean production era. Hand-painted, not dishwasher safe. We carry complete place settings, serving pieces, the creamer & sugar set, and the salt & pepper set in Desert Rose — browse the shop for the full collection.
A beautiful replacement piece and a joy for any Desert Rose collector.
