Avon's Jasmine fragrance was issued as early as the mid-1940s, and this round dusting powder tin bears the early hallmarks: the Good Housekeeping seal (first used 1941), the New York/Montreal address, and an elegant Art Deco floral design in brass and gold against a black ground. Now empty. The condition shows honest age — minor scratches, rust, and some marks on the lid visible in certain light. There is a small hole on the underside of the lid. All photographed.
