• Details:  A wonderful cedar wood cigar box from Olivia Serie V Melanio Grand Reserva.  It's a traditional box, stained cedar wood, with two hinged metal snap locks in front and embossed gold lettering on lid.  The inside lid is also embossed with the company's wordmark, includes a flat wood divider panel, (a thin sheet of cedar that can be removed if you need the extra space).  This is a great collector's item for a cigar aficionado, or tobacciana collector.  In the family room it makes a nice storage piece for remote controls, as a desk organizer for note pads and pens, great for corralling small items.  We use our cigar boxes to store playing card decks and small games.  In the bar it can store bottle openers, wine stoppers, coasters, etc.

The Oliva Serie V line was made to honor the Oliva family patriarch.  It is handcrafted at Tabacalera Oliva in Esteli, Nicaragua.  While it is a limited release, it is still being produced.  Regarding the date, we found no specific release date of a "Serie V Melanio Gran Reserva Limitada Robusto", however, we know the standard Oliva Serie V Melanio Robusto was introduced in August 2012, (which is a standard production offering).  The Oliva Cigar Family was acquired by J. Cortes Cigars, in the summer of 2016.  The five Oliva siblings and the great-grandchildren of Melanio Oliva, remain actively involved in the family brand.
