• Details:  This box of Arturo Fuente Spanish Lonsdales Maduro cigars is lovely.  The label is embossed and gilded, it has the two-lions logo and the Cuban Shield, an ohmage to his home country, as Arturo Fuente was a Cuban immigrant.  When the box is opened, you find another gorgeous, heavily embossed and gilded label, with the same features on the top label, but larger.  It was difficult to date this box, many of the identifiers like tax stamps, etc., are missing, however, we know that in 2001, Arturo Fuente started including a humidifier pouch inside the box, and the outer label had a blue "water droplet" illustration, to indicate the addition of humidity.  This box does not have the blue droplet so we can comfortably date it to the 1990's, perhaps it's older. This is a great collector's item for a cigar aficionado, or tobacciana collector.  In the family room it makes a nice storage piece for remote controls, as a desk organizer for note pads and pens, great for corralling small items. We use our cigar boxes to store playing card decks and small games. In the bar it can store bottle openers, wine stoppers, coasters, etc.

• Condition:   Vintage - Used.  Very Good Condition.  There is a mark on the outer label, looks like a sticker may have been removed.  Otherwise, just slight scuffing on the gilded areas.  Box is very clean inside and out, no age spots or discoloration, edge paper trim in very good condition.  Please review all pictures and make sure you love this item before purchasing, we can't accept returns.  Please remember these are VINTAGE and ANTIQUE items, every effort has been made to show any scratches, wear and tear and imperfections.  

In 1912, a young Cuban immigrant named Arturo Fuente began making cigars in West Tampa, Florida and created "Fuente y Compania".  More than 100 years later, his namesake brand has grown into one of the world's most critically acclaimed cigars. The Spanish Lonsdale is a specific line within the Fuente portfolio, featuring premium Dominican tobacco in a Maduro wrapper. The Maduro wrapper refers to a darker, more robust flavor profile, often associated with aged Connecticut Broadleaf tobacco.
