A scalloped rim above a band of cut crystal flowers on a frosted ground, then stripe cuts sweeping down to a cut base — this is the Southern Garden pattern by Oneida, introduced in 1993 in 24% lead crystal made in Germany. Five and a quarter inches tall, rose bowl shape, and beautifully light-catching. The label is long gone (these originally bore a black and gold label reading "24% Lead Crystal, Made in Germany") but the quality speaks for itself. Excellent condition, no chips or scratches.
Oneida was founded in 1848 in Oneida, New York and became one of America's most recognized tableware manufacturers. The Southern Garden pattern is among their most elegant crystal offerings from the 1990s.
