  • Details:  Elevate your entertaining with this vintage clamshell-shaped serving bowl by FB Rogers, England. Crafted in elegant silverplate, it features integrated candle holders and a sauce cup, perfect for serving Shrimp Cocktail, Chips and Dips or Crudités, with style.  It has a Dolphin shaped foot on one end.  This one retains the original label on back, reads:  "FB Rogers Silver Company, Taunton, Mass".  This is important because we know the FB Rogers name was no longer used after 1985 (J.C. Boardman acquired the company in 1985.  Manufacturing was moved to Europe and Asia and the FB Rogers name was dropped). The piece does not come with glass inserts, but we highly recommend using a glass insert within the cup holder as well as the clamshell, this will keep the silver from pitting due to food acids.  Also, the cup and candle holders can be removed for deep cleaning when necessary.  This decorative piece combines functionality and timeless charm, making it an exquisite addition to any hostess’s collection.

  • Dimensions:  Overall:  13.25 inches Long and 10.5 inches Wide.  Bowl only: 10.5 inches x 10.25 inches x 2.25 inches.
  • Condition:  Vintage- Used.  Very Good Vintage Condition.  As with all silver and silverplated vintage items, there are minor surface scratches.  There is some pitting (black dots), very few, in the clamshell center.  All acceptable due to age/use/wear.  Please review all pictures and make sure you love this item before purchasing, we can't accept returns.  All Sales Final. Please remember these are ANTIQUE and VINTAGE items, they are NOT new, every effort has been made to show any scratches, wear and tear and imperfections.
