This is a New Old Stock Dr. Pepper promotional book cover, never used, found in an old bottling plant after decades of storage. It was distributed as part of a mid-century advertising campaign by the Colad Company of Buffalo, NY — a plasticoat paper cover with brilliant, unfaded colors and all the graphic energy of 1950s American design. Borders include fill-in sections for the owner's name and school sports scores, a wonderful time capsule detail. Marked on the back: "This is a PLASTICOAT book cover published by the Colad Company Inc., Buffalo, NY. Copyright since 1934, Printed in USA."
