It's perfect for the long-time Florida resident, the restaurant memorabilia collector, or anyone who grew up going to Chief Charley's with their family.
For over 25 years, Chief Charley's was a gathering place for Florida families, beloved for its salad bar, good food, reasonable prices, and lively atmosphere, until it closed in bankruptcy in 1989 — leaving a hole regulars never quite forgot. Charles Haag passed away in February 2003 at the age of 89. This simple, unpretentious stein carries a hand-drawn illustration of a Native American chief's head in red alongside the restaurant's name — the kind of piece that means nothing to a stranger and everything to someone who was there.
