She married in September 1935. Her soap ad ran the following year.

Camay's 1930s bridal campaign featured real brides from across the country — each one lending her name and image to the tagline "The Soap for Beautiful Women." This particular ad, featuring Mrs. James Wilcox, is one we've been unable to find duplicated anywhere, making it an unusually scarce piece of American beauty advertising history. The reverse carries a full-page Swift's Premium Meats ad — a vivid contrast in domestic life, circa 1936.

A lovely gift for brides, beauty collectors, or anyone drawn to the quiet elegance of pre-war American advertising. Frame-worthy and genuinely rare.
