A heavy porcelain handle, wide silverplated tines, and carved leaf detail where handle meets fork — Godinger built this piece to look like something from a grand hotel buffet.
Godinger Silver Art Company, founded in New York in 1973, has built a reputation for high-quality giftware in silverplate and crystal that consistently overdelivers on its price point. This serving fork from the 1990s is a particularly handsome example: the porcelain handle is substantial and elegant, a silverplated decorative cap finishes the end, and carved leaf details at the transition to the wide-tined fork add a classical flourish. Labeled "GSA, Godinger Silver Art Co. Ltd., Made in China" — original label still attached. Needs a good polish to fully shine.
A beautiful addition to a formal table, a holiday buffet, or a well-appointed charcuterie spread. A lovely housewarming or hostess gift for the person who sets a table with intention — the kind of fork that gets noticed and asked about.
