The open companion to the covered vegetable bowl — this deep oval serving bowl carries the same rare N1427 pattern: pink and red roses with bluish-purple accents, leaves in shifting tones of green, blue, and golden yellow, and fine gold detailing at the rim against luminous white bone china. Deep enough to serve generously, elegant enough to stay on the table through dessert.
The RC backstamp — Royal Crockery — was a Noritake export brand created for the India and Southeast Asian market, used from 1933 through approximately 1946. Pieces from this pre-war period are increasingly difficult to find in excellent condition. We carry additional pieces from this pattern including other serving pieces and complete dinnerware sets.
Beautiful for formal entertaining, a meaningful gift for someone building a vintage china collection, or a romantic addition to a curated tablescape.
