The RC backstamp on this piece — short for Royal Crockery — marks it as a rare pre-war Noritake line made specifically for the Indian and Southeast Asian export market.

  • Maker: Noritake
  • Pattern: Pink & Red Roses (N1427)
  • Materials: Bone china
  • Origin: Japan
  • Era: Vintage, 1933–1946 (RC Royal Crockery mark)
  • Dimensions: 8¼" diameter opening, 10½" including handles; 5½" foot diameter; 5½" tall with lid, 3" without
  • Condition: Good vintage condition — no cracks or visible scratches; two small chips on the inside of the lid (photographed); gold in very good condition. Please review photos closely before purchasing, as all sales are final.

Pink and red roses tumble across bright white bone china alongside tiny bluish-purple flowers, leaves shifting from green to blue to golden yellow, all framed by gold at the rim, the foot, the handles, and the lid finial.

A breathtaking centerpiece for a formal table, or displayed filled with seasonal blooms as the crown jewel of a curated vintage tablescape.

The RC backstamp was a Noritake brand created specifically for the India and Southeast Asian market, registered in India and used from 1933 through approximately 1946. Pattern N1427 dates from this pre-war window, making it genuinely rare.
