Sadek's SAD76 pattern is a gentle one: small purple grapes, green grape leaves, and tiny pink blossoms scattered across a pastel yellow border, finished with a green and gold scroll rim.
Sweet without being cloying, and surprisingly versatile — equally at home at a spring luncheon, a summer garden party, or an autumn tea. A lovely hostess gift, a charming housewarming present, or a find for the Sadek collector.
Andrea by Sadek was founded in 1936 by brothers Charles and Norman Sadek in New Rochelle, New York, and named for Charles's daughter, Andrea, who remains involved in design today. After WWII, Norman began working directly with Japanese factories to elevate production quality — the foundation of the brand's reputation for fine craftsmanship in figurines, tea sets, lamps, dinnerware, and more. Though acquired by Fitz and Floyd in 2015, the Sadek family remains involved in product design to this day.
