Not a single detail is out of place — not her tiny red lips, not the precise line of her hat, not the way the glaze shifts intentionally between her shiny dress and her softly matte face.
This figural porcelain bell is a genuinely rare find — we searched extensively and couldn't locate another like it. A Victorian girl in blue, holding a bouquet of blue flowers, hat wide and perfectly set, with gold accents on her blouse and bouquet. The craftsmanship is exceptional for its era: the selective glazing alone — shiny where it should be, matte where it reads better — suggests a maker who knew exactly what they were doing. Unmarked, which only adds to the mystery.
A wonderful gift for the bell collector, the blue and white collector, or anyone who loves a small, beautifully made object with genuine presence.
