- Details: Very large crate label, showcasing a gorgeous Art Deco inspired peacock against a big yellow sun. The label has a blue and black background and the peacock shines in her colorful plumage against the darkness. It's marked "Vandalia Packing Assn. in Porterville, California" the Sunkist brand wrapped orange is on the bottom left corner. This label was designed by Al Clark who was a freelance artist in San Francisco, he ran a studio from 1934 well into the 1950's. It is absolutely stunning, perfect for framing, decoupage, or other craft / school projects. It is unused stock found at the Vandalia Packing Assn and it's in excellent condition, framing is recommended to maintain condition. Collecting labels has become a very popular hobby, mainly because of the many beautiful and unique images/artwork that can be found.
