- Vintage circa 1930's
- Details: Very high quality vintage crate label, depicting a Scottish girl (lass) dressed in traditional Scottish Highlands dress which includes the tartan/plaid cloth kilt. There's are thistle flowers around her feet which has been the national emblem of Scotland since the reign of Alexander III in 1249. A beautifully detailed castle by the water visible in the background. This label is from the Strathmore Packing House in Strathmore, Tulare County, CA. It's a very large label, perfect for framing, decoupage, or other craft / school projects. New Old Stock from the factory, acquired from a long time dealer who put had them for many years and is retiring. The name comes from a song "Scotch Lassie Jean" by Harry Miller (1870). Framing is recommended to maintain this condition or store in an acid-free bag. Collecting labels has become a very popular hobby, mainly because of the many beautiful and unique images/artwork that can be found.
