Stone lithography from the 1930s is a different animal from the offset printing that followed it, and the tonal richness here shows exactly why.

A yellow bird with bold black markings — possibly an American Goldfinch, possibly a rare Yellow Cardinal — perches with composed attention beside a vivid green celery stalk, the large white lettering giving the whole composition a direct, confident economy.
Frame it as bird art or 1930s graphic design — it works beautifully in a kitchen or breakfast room.
This is also a rarer find in its provenance: a Detroit-packed celery label rather than the California and Washington fruit labels that dominate the collecting world.
A wonderful gift for a birder, a goldfinch lover, or a vintage graphic design enthusiast.
