A perfect piece for a bridal shower, wedding, or baby shower gift, a Fenton collector, or anyone who loves American milk glass at its most elegant.
This piece pre-dates 1970, confirmed by the absence of the Fenton signature mark that began appearing around that time, and by its provenance. Fenton Art Glass Company was founded in 1905 by Frank L. Fenton and his brother John W. Fenton in Martins Ferry, Ohio, moving to Williamstown, West Virginia in 1907. Silver Crest was introduced in 1942 and remained in production until 1986. Fenton closed its glass factory in 2011; Mosser Glass purchased the molds.
