A fiery red bloom — nearly orange — surrounded by smaller buds, gray and brown leaves, and gold wherever the eye wants to rest.

Johann Seltmann's Vohenstrauß factory in Bavaria produced fine porcelain from 1901 until its closure in 1995, and this creamer represents the house at its most expressive. The dominant flower is bold and saturated, almost unexpected against the white ground; the secondary blooms and leaves soften it into something balanced. Scrolled gold borders frame the top and foot; the handle carries the same scrollwork, gilded. Backstamped and dated to 1949–1955, placing it in the postwar era when German porcelain factories were rebuilding and returning to quality production.

A striking addition to a creamer collection, or a standalone piece for anyone drawn to florals with genuine presence. Beautiful on a shelf, on a breakfast tray, or as a gift for the collector who appreciates Bavarian porcelain with character — birthdays, Mother's Day, or any occasion worth marking with something lasting.
