Creamy iridescent glaze, thick gold, swirled sides, and a shape that can't quite decide between Art Deco and Mid-Century Modern — and is more interesting for it.
Pearl China was founded in 1931 in East Liverpool, Ohio — the heart of American pottery country — and produced their own wares from the mid-1930s until closing production in 1960. This creamer and open sugar set from the 1940s–1950s is Pearl China at its most distinctive: the irregular, almost sculptural silhouette catches light differently from every angle, and the iridescent luster finish shifts between cream and pearl depending on how you look at it. Heavy gold detailing on both pieces. Each holds just 4 oz — intimate by design, sized for a table set for two.
A standout piece for an Art Deco or MCM collection, or a conversation-starting addition to a curated breakfast table. A genuinely unusual hostess or housewarming gift — beautiful filled with a flavored sugar and paired with a good morning.
