This particular bottle depicts the "Spirit of '76" — three Revolutionary soldiers, fife and drum in hand, marching forward — based on the beloved 1875 painting by Archibald MacNeal Willard. The reverse side features patriotic stars with "1776" embossed along the top edge, and the metal screw cap is designed to resemble a traditional cork, a charming period detail. Log Cabin Syrup has been an American breakfast staple since 1887, when P.J. Townsend of St. Paul, Minnesota named his maple syrup after Abraham Lincoln's humble origins — and its bicentennial bottle series remains highly collectible today.
